Q. What can I expect in my first class?

A. Your first class will likely include a safety briefing, introductions to the equipment, basic poses, and gentle inversions. Expect a mix of challenge and relaxation in yoga. In Intro to Aerial Flow you can expect the challenge of learning how to flow in the air.

Q. Is there a weight limit?

A. No! The aerial yoga hammocks are made to hold up to 500 pounds.

Q. What should I wear to my Aerial Yoga class?

A. For the best experience, wear form-fitting clothing that covers your skin and doesn’t have any buttons or zippers. Avoid jewelry or anything on your body that can get caught in the hammock.

Q. What are the benefits of Aerial Yoga?

A. While the list of benefits is extensive, the most popular benefits include spinal decompression, deeper stretches, and more accessibility to poses you may not be able to achieve in a traditional mat based practice (such as backbends and inversions).
